About

The aim of the society is to assist all members in the pursuit of gardening as a recreation and promote health and wellbeing, education and community fellowship.

A group of likeminded people came together in 2009 with the aim of establishing and allotment site in the Alwoodley Parish. An Association was formed the following year and since then we have being pursuing our goal.

We have over 40 members and are affiliated with The National Society of Allotments and Leisure Gardner’s (NSALG) and The Leeds & District Gardner’s Federation (L&DGF).

With the help of The Alwoodley Parish Council, Leeds City Council, our associate societies and our members we think that 2014 will be the year we achieve our goal!
